This position is a highly collaborative role that works with the HR team to ensure the efficient operation and optimization of the HR Systems. Supports the HR team and troubleshoots issues to maintain data integrity for the HR Systems. Collaborates with subject matter experts to implement system enhancements, testing of system changes, creation of standard operating procedures and job aids, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Supports the HR Team with troubleshooting, reporting, special projects and other HR Activities.Essential Functions:
- Responsible for supporting and maintaining HR systems, which includes updating, validating, auditing, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.
- Provide timely and effective troubleshooting assistance to resolve system errors and user problems.
- Document and track support tickets, resolutions, and user feedback to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance by running reports, auditing, analyzing information and troubleshooting errors.
- Collaborate with next level support on escalations and needed configuration changes.
- Responsible for entry of employee data into HRIS system as needed.
- Assists with the development of analytics and reports in support of a multitude of human resources projects and programs through the extraction and consolidation of data from the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other employee data sources.
- Participates in HRIS projects by contributing to the analysis, design, troubleshooting, data conversion and testing.
- Performs various tasks as assigned to support the HR organization.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc), report writing tools and Human Resources Information Systems (preferably Workday).
- Requires analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organized, analytic ability, problem solving, troubleshooting and follow-up skills
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- General Knowledge of Human Resources business functions preferred.
Education:
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of HR systems or related human resources experience
Licenses & Certifications:
- None
Working Conditions:
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
Mental Aspects:
Work includes consulting, analyzing, planning, coordinating and implementing. This role works in an environment that often requires the performance of multiple simultaneous activities where deadlines need to be met and work is performed under pressure while involving significant business commitments and results.
