2025 Summer Business Process & Data Analysis Intern

Develop an Internal System User Guide
- Review the existing TIS Dashboard program within SharePoint and Microsoft Power App.
- Document system functionality, navigation, and user interactions in a structured guide.
Create a Process Flowchart
- Analyze the system workflows and how they align with business procedures.
- Develop a clear and visually structured process flowchart.
- Identify any gaps or inefficiencies between the system and business processes.
Identify Process Improvements
- Compare business procedures with system capabilities.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and potential system enhancements.
Reverse Engineer and Develop Reports
- Work from a provided list of reports needed by the department.
- Analyze available system data, determine missing elements, and suggest data sources.
- Create mock-up reports using Excel or Microsoft Power BI.
Develop a Pre-Scoping Meeting Checklist
- Formalize a structured checklist to improve department efficiency.
- Ensure the checklist aligns with business needs and system capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in one of the following fields:
- Business Administration, Management, or Operations (for process improvement focus)
- Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Analytics (for system documentation and reporting)
- Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering (for workflow optimization)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel and/or Power BI.
- Ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with process mapping tools (such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
