In this entry level role, you’ll provide assistance to internal and external subject matter experts with energy efficiency project management services for our electric and natural gas customers. Your support will help customers reduce overall natural gas and electricity consumption by replacing or substituting end use devices or systems, which are technically more advanced, without affecting the customer’s operations.
This is a hybrid role.
Essential Functions:
- Provides project assistance services and support to the customers and assists with services specific to the procurement and installation of energy efficient equipment and systems.
- Reviews prescriptive applications for pertinent supporting documentation.
- Research customer energy efficiency and participation data.
- Prepares and maintains analysis spreadsheets, reading equipment specification sheets and project documentation for applicable energy efficiency measures.
- Research energy efficiency technologies,
- Provides project ideation and post installation administration of engineering approval and incentive payment processing.
- Assists in coordinating the implementation of the portfolio of Energy Efficiency programs and related initiatives.
- Assists on the integration of general daily transactional activities between the customer, program administrators, advisory consultants, and vendor/contractors.
- Assists in invoicing and tracking of expenses and energy savings; assists with the preparation of RFPs for contracted services.
- Assist in all other activities as advised by management.
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Requires ability to assist with and learning about energy efficiency and renewable technologies for customers.
- Requires basic, fundamental understanding of financial principals and the ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel). Assists by gathering and organizing relevant information & data.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of one or more of the following: high-efficiency lighting, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or control modifications, efficient building design, advanced electric motor drives, heat recovery systems, and manufacturing processes.
Education:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy, Sustainability, Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience:
- One (1) plus years of relevant experience in technical marketing, sales, project management or energy efficiency. Minimal experience and/or aptitude in customer service.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $83,000 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
