Meter & Service Dispatcher (Hybrid)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Dispatches routine and emergency orders to field personnel involved in utility meter and service work.
The dispatcher will dispatch same day orders and cancellations to field meter personnel using call center phone/radio system. Knowledge of Fieldnet, C2, CACs, OMNI and ARCOS software helpful but not mandatory.
This is a shift position. Once training is completed then the normal shift will be 10:30am - 7pm. It's also a partial hybrid job. 4 days in office and 1 day work from home.
The primary duties include:
· Receives logs and dispatches work orders to utility meter and service field personnel.
· Determines, as practical, the general nature and extent of system meter and service trouble;
dispatches personnel accordingly.
· Contacts customers to confirm or change appointments.
· Follows up on inquiries and complaints regarding meter and service work.
· Develops work assignments and schedules meter and service personnel.
· Reviews completed orders for accuracy and completeness of the information.
· Compares disconnect with reconnecting work orders; monitors disconnect work orders and initiates a seal-meter work order following a specified time period.
· Compiles prepares, and maintains files of various reports and records associated with the work;
performs other administrative work associated with Customer Service Center orders.
· Coordinates work scheduling with the District Meter and Service functions.
· Storm duty assignment as a wire guard coordinator
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma or the equivalent and minimum of 2 years of related experience is required.
Experience in Eversource Customer Group is preferred.
The available shift is:
(1) Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Also may require flexibility in a shift at times.
The annual salary range for this position is $66,000.00 to $73,000.00 and progresses in accordance with
the union contract. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an
