Senior Specialist, Training, Transmission (Hybrid)

Locations: Westwood, Massachusetts

This is a hybrid role with the first three months in the office.

Eversrouce is looking for a Senior Specialist, Training, Transmission out of the Westwood, MA office. Under minimal supervision, responsible for coordinating multiple training projects that support the onboarding, learning, development, and company assimilation in support of meeting the Transmission department's development and retention goals. Responsibilities include collaborating with key stakeholders to understand the training needs and working with a team of SMEs to develop content that meets the identified training needs. This role will also support the Training Program Manager in operation of all training programs.

Essential Functions: 

  • Identifies, organizes, and creates content to align with training program structure.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders on delivery of program components.

  • Develops relationships with SME’s within Transmission; works closely with SME’s in the development of training content ensuring that technical components of the training can be understood by the participants.

  • Communicates relevant program information to all audiences (participant and manager); responsible for ensuring flow of information, reviews content of training to ensure content can be understood by all participants.

  • Supports the planning and execution of program events and engagements.  Responsible for selecting meeting facilitators and participants; Reviews and approves the training content for these events.

  • Data collection and analysis on program components and employee performance

  • Provides program progress, updates, and trends to business leadership.

  • Schedules trainings and identifies resource conflicts between programs; determines and finalizes the selection of managers providing the training and participants required to take the training.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

  • Requires knowledge of utility transmission system and business units’ functions.

  • Requires knowledge of 70/20/10 learning theory, adult learning principles, Instructional Design and L&D best practices.  

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to present theory and concepts, as well as hands-on technical instruction with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm. 

  • Requires leadership and coaching abilities.

  • Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience

Experience:  

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, with at least (2) years of experience managing teams and projects.

  • Prior experience in LMS administration.

  • Experience in engineering, scheduling, construction, or project management is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • A valid motor vehicle driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed primarily in an office environment but will require site visits.

  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.

  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:

$99,250.00-$110,280.00
