Under direct supervision, assists in managing Third Party Projects in Massachusetts to ensure all phases of projects are completed efficiently, within scope, and on schedule. Works closely with personnel throughout the Eversource Company to engineer, design, permit and construct assigned projects. Primary duties include working with and managing customer expectations throughout all their projects.
Essential Functions:
- Primary point of contact and transacts all Eversource business with assigned customers with a focus on positive customer experience.
- Maintains account contacts and other pertinent information for all assigned customers.
- Establish relationships and partnerships with assigned customers and business leaders. Develops multiple points of contact and relationships with assigned customers.
- Manages projects and develops a role with various departments to create and provide customized options and solutions.
- Participates in strategic teams, as requested, provide ideas and perspective to improve operational processes.
- Keeps management informed of business activities and trends. Anticipates and reports on situations or problems.
- Assists in contacting major customers and municipalities during emergencies. Actively participates and supports other internal departments during emergency situations.
- Participates in and supports the Company’s environmental and safety initiatives.
- Supports Division Operations, including Line Department, Underground, New Service and Metering, plus interface as needed with customers and other field groups, including Engineering and Test department.
Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Requires preliminary knowledge in the theoretical and practical application of project management techniques and tools including project management software.
- Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred); Business, related discipline or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Zero (0) plus years of experience.
- One (1) plus years in electric utility construction or project management experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License required.
