Transmission Internship-Eversource Energy

As a Transmission intern, you’ll support project teams in managing transmission projects from start to finish—helping with engineering, design, permitting, and construction. You’ll assist with documentation, compliance tracking, and coordination across departments, gaining hands-on experience in project management and regulatory processes. This role is ideal for students looking to build skills in analysis, auditing, and operational reliability within the energy industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers with project documentation, close-out activities, and other assigned tasks
  • Provide clear and concise status updates on assigned tasks or project segments
  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation in the corporate database for regulatory audits
  • Assist in preparing for regulatory audits by identifying and resolving potential non-compliance issues
  • Help develop and implement processes and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with standards
  • Collaborate with operational teams to support continuous improvement in reliability and compliance
  • Contribute to projects that build skills in analysis, auditing, research, testing, and validation

Education:

  • Pursuing a degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related Business degree
