We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive AMI Analyst to join our team. The AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) Analyst will be responsible for resolving exceptions within the AMI systems, ensuring accurate and timely meter data flow, and coordinating with various teams to maintain operational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the desire to understand advanced metering infrastructure and data management.
Essential Functions:
Resolve exceptions occurring across the AMI Solution, including those centric to the network, Head End System (HES), and Meter Data Management System (MDMS).
Monitor meter data performance across the AMI Solution, including the network, HES and MDMS.
Log tickets with vendor’s Customer Support or liaise directly on the phone with vendor’s support staff to resolve application issues within the AMI Solution (e.g., HES, MDMS)
Perform detailed analysis of exceptions occurring across AMI Solution to identify patterns and anomalies.
Generate reports on exception trends and resolution status.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, field operations, and customer service, to address and resolve exceptions.
Provide support for the maintenance, upgrade, and enhancement of AMI functionalities.
Participate in system testing and validation to ensure data integrity across applications critical to the AMI Solution (e.g., HES, MDMS).
Monitor export performance between core AMI applications and other external systems (e.g., EDP).
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Education: Pursuing a degree in computer science, Information Technology, data analytics, or Engineering.
Experience:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Interns are paid through our Managed Service Provider Program and are not employees of Eversource. Payrates are hourly and based on year of graduation and if the role is technical or non-technical. Technical rates start at $20.60 freshman and up to $27.38 for a senior.
