Operations Performance Analyst

Performance Reporting & Analytics
- Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and performance tracking tools using Power BI, Excel, and other visualization platforms.
- Collect, analyze, and report on operational, and compliance data across all Gas departments.
- Support the development and publication of ad/hoc, monthly and quarterly performance reports, including executive summaries and department level scorecards.
- Build and manage SQL-based queries and data pipelines to support reporting and analytics needs.
Business Analysis & Decision Support
- Analyze trends, variances, and performance drivers to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support special projects and ad hoc analyses focused on specific business units, programs, or regulatory or compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, service level commitments, and productivity metrics.
- Support long-term planning efforts by providing historical data analysis and scenario modeling.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Partner with Senior analysts and business leaders to identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing data quality, system integration, and reporting efficiency.
- Provide technical and analytical support for initiatives involving people, process, or technology changes.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization design).
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with VBA, Python, or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or performance management.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating with all levels of management.
- Prior experience in utilities, energy, or regulated industries is a plus.
