LNG Engineering Intern

Eversource has an opportunity at the Waterbury LNG Plant for a highly motivated student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering who is seeking summer internship which will provide valuable exposure to industry best practices in the fast paced and changing utility sector.
This position will be responsible for the reviewing and updating of LNG Plant P&IDs, manuals, procedures, and preventative maintenance database with the aim of ensuring accuracy between documentation and actual field equipment.
This involves, reviewing Pipe and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) and coordinating with AutoCAD specialists to update said diagrams for the plants. This candidate will also work to ensure the preventative maintenance database and field device labeling are an accurate reflection of the updated plant PI&IDs.
In addition, the responsibilities include analyzing supply statistics, reviewing operating manuals, operation/maintenance procedures and all aspects of company and plant safety and hazard identification.

Candidates should possess excellent communication, judgment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, proficient in the use of AutoCAD, MS Office applications, Power Point and have a strong interest and desire to learn and apply computer application.
