POSITION DESCRIPTION: Individuals will be responsible for warehousing and stocking of various materials, including maintaining accurate material tracking through a database system. The selected candidate will perform loading and unloading of any/all items to be warehoused; coordinate accurate stocking of material as defined; and carry out order functions as requested. The individual will be responsible for the movement of material which may include, but is not limited to, operating a forklift, hand truck, cart, or any other equipment that is used to perform warehousing duties; will be responsible to pick orders using ladders, where the ability to work at heights is necessary; coordinate with responsible parties to verify ordered equipment where accuracy is in question, and to report any concerns regarding damaged/potentially damaged materials to the appropriate individual. The selected candidate will be responsible for lifting and lowering of stock weighing between one (1) and fifty (50) pounds; utilizing a data entry system; coordinating orders and deliveries with responsible individuals; verifying stock accuracy if requested, and receiving store inventory. The use of RF(radio frequency) units to process stores transactions and driving a delivery truck is required with CDL A.


The hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or the equivalent.  Three (3) years or more of related experience is required.  Possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which the employee resides.  In addition, must successfully meet the qualifications (including medical) to obtain the appropriate license(s), certification(s), and endorsement(s) as required by the Company and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations to perform the duties of the position.  Be able to successfully complete the requirements of the Stockhandler Time Merit Progression Training Program and qualify as a fully qualified Stockhandler at the end of the training period.  Be familiar with computer operation and capable of learning the software applications used daily in support of the position (MAXIMO, WORKFORCE, WORKDAY, OUTLOOK, and others as required).  Be able to communicate effectively, oral and written, keep clear and accurate records and work cooperatively and effectively with others.  Have unimpaired hearing and good eyesight with or without corrective devices, and be able to differentiate colors. Must be willing to work both emergency and planned overtime when the need arises; be able to perform duties both indoors and outdoors at times under adverse weather conditions, work irregular and/or extended periods of time.  Must live within 30 minutes of the reporting location.  Qualify to safely operate forklift trucks, "must be able to obtain and maintain valid CDL (A) within 6 months of hire", storage stack system lifts, company vehicles and load, secure and unload material.  Meet all physical requirements to perform the job duties as determined by medical placement examination(s).
