Responsible for performing skilled maintenance, installation, and repair work on buildings and equipment at company facilities in the Manchester area. Duties include inspecting and servicing HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems, fire alarms, generators, UPS units, data center equipment, and pneumatic systems. Additional tasks include furniture moves, snow removal, painting, light carpentry, and other assigned work, while utilizing a Facilities Work Management System for tracking and documentation.Job Description:
Individuals will perform skilled maintenance, installation, and repair work on both building and building equipment at company facilities located in the Manchester area.
Job Duties
- Making scheduled tests and inspections, and determining necessary work on building equipment and fixtures, including but not limited to, HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, electrical and electronic controls, fire alarms, generators, UPS's, data center equipment, and pneumatic equipment
- Perform skilled work in connection with the installation, removal, operations, and maintenance of the building, building equipment, and other related physical plant; and work with a Facilities Work Management System and all associated clerical work.
- Will also perform furniture moves, snow removal, painting, light carpentry, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5 years of HVAC service experience.
- Must have State of NH Gas Fitters License and have Universal CFC Certification.
- The ultimate rate for an individual with a single license is $47.86 per hour. The ultimate rate for an individual with a dual license is $48.60 per hour.
Bargaining unit employees with rights to this posting will be given first consideration. This is a union represented position so anyone going into this position would be required to become a member of the union.
