Our Team
Eversource is looking for a Data Analyst, Project Coordination for Transmission in Westwood, MA or Hartford, CT. In this role you will work with various internal stakeholders to manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of the project coordination process to effectively manage Eversource right-of-way work activities and integrate various sources of disparate right-of-way information across the Eversource footprint.
The Project Coordination process is designed to:
• Facilitate the coordination of various work activities in the same ROW
• Increase field productivity
• Identify synergies or conflicts
• Minimize errors on the job site
• Facilitate adherence to permit requirements and customer commitments
• Allow quick response to customer inquiries or concerns
• Provide a repository for property-specific historical and current information
Essential Functions:
Support the execution of the Company’s project coordination as related to ESRI Geographical Information System (GIS) associated with the Company’s transmission system.
Develop, update, analyze and manage GIS databases.
Manage and maintain GIS software and related technologies.
Conduct spatial analyses and create information products such as maps and charts.
Ensures proposed solution meets business requirements and is in alignment with vision, technology, roadmaps and/or standards.
Ensures system integration components have appropriate data ownership, quality controls, auditing, monitoring, and security.
Works with IT to test application integrations and facilitate stakeholder testing.
Post-testing, develop multi-discipline system maintenance team and processes to ensure timely information integration and integrity.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Knowledge of hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro, Model Builder, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, StoryMaps, Power Bi, Power Apps and other online mapping solutions or current equivalent.; demonstrated competency and proficiency in oral and written communications.
Experience supporting software implementations that involve multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to effectively lead multi-discipline teams.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn and understand new technologies.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Highly self-motivated.
Keen attention to detail.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering Degree, GIS, or Computer Science/MIS, related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Minimum three to five (3 to 5) years’ work in a Technical Business Analyst, Data Manager/Integrator, and/or Project Manager role.
Licenses & Certifications:
Must have a valid drivers license
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
