Manager, Transportation Administration (Hybrid)

- Manages and leads Fleet projects and initiatives to ensure milestones and budgets are adhered to.
- Leads and conducts the procurement process for all vendors and contracts that support fleet operations.
- Aide in the development of the fleet and corporate strategic plan to evaluate and determine improvement opportunities.
- Overseas compliance with resources like Maximo, Powerplan, Chevin Fleetwave, WEX Clearview, Power BI, and others to collect and interpret data required for Pura audits, compliance with all corporate policies and state and federal laws.
- Works with the business unit managers and leaders to develop high level and detailed performance measures and targets.
- Develops measures, and other controls for processes and projects.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data produced by the team and results reported; accept accountability and work cohesively in a team environment that stresses attention to detail.
- Provide insights from analyzed and collected data through presentations, models, and written word.
- Creates standardized processes and leads implement improvements in support of fleet related plans.
- Manages the team of analysts that conduct financial and cost-benefit analyses using a wide variety of analytical tools and methods.
- Leads efforts to re-design processes and procedures demonstrating advanced analytical skills and creative solution planning.
- Presents team outcomes to peers and management for review, comment, and approval, overcoming barriers and addressing concerns.
- Manages schedules and provides updates assuming multiple concurrent assignments.
- In collaboration with other managers, ensures that emergency storm plans are in place to support the timely restoration of customer service.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
- Requires technical and managerial skills in procurement of fleet vehicles, fleet operations and maintenance and. Additionally, knowledge of local motor vehicle laws, OSHA, CDL, DOT and other pertinent regulatory requirements is essential.
Education:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of ten (10) to twelve (12) years in fleet management.

Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
Work is performed primarily in an office environment which requires frequent travel to various locations to ensure the overall compliance with established policies and procedures.
