Analyst, System Operations Training & Procedures (Hybrid)
05/22/2025Locations: East Berlin, Connecticut; Dorchester, Massachusetts; Manchester, New Hampshire
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring operational efficiency and compliance at Eversource by maintaining accurate and up-to-date procedures and providing critical insight into the everyday operation of the Training and Procedures organization. Under limited supervision, the Analyst performs a variety of Site Administration functions, including procedure life-cycle management, document control, and records management, using technologically advanced software. This role also performs other administrative functions associated with ongoing training and procedure development activities and requires a strong command of professional and technical terminology and effective language skills.This is a HYBRID Position. The first three months will be full-time in the office.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate and schedule System Operations Training and Procedure activities (resources, personnel, facilities, materials).
- Develop, maintain, and distribute training materials and procedures.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities through data analysis.
- Assist in preparation for compliance audits.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prioritize work and maintain performance standards.
- Generate statistics and conduct analysis on System Operations Training and Procedure activities.
- Monitor System Operations Training and Procedure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Represent System Operations Training and Procedures at meetings and on committees.
- Maintain Authorized Personnel List in compliance with applicable procedures.
- Manages the distribution of newly issued and revised procedures, averaging approximately 100 procedures per month.
- Performs and implements special assignments, such as process improvement initiatives, audits, and compliance, as well as training and knowledge sharing and system enhancements.
- Designs, implements, and helps maintain reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence tools.
- Creates Purchase Orders using Maximo.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
Essential:
- Proficient knowledge of grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, and proofreading, ensuring complete accuracy and thoroughness of all documents.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Power BI and Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets, charts, and complex formulas.
- Familiarity with learning management and document management systems.
- Adept at producing detailed and accurate written documentation, including procedures and reports.
- Knowledge of specific electric utility distribution and transmission operations terminology.
Preferred:
- Proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of company organization and departmental policies, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with various levels of the organization.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Three to five years of experience in procedure development, document management, or data analysis, preferably in a utility or regulated industry.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Microsoft Office certification preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
