2026 Summer IT Operations Intern

The intern will support WOLC performance testing, and process improvement initiatives across multiple scrum teams. This role involves hands-on work with testing tools, reporting platforms, and team coordination activities.Key Responsibilities:
• Generate and maintain reports from Jira to support project tracking and team activities.
• Assist in updating and executing LoadRunner performance test scripts, working closely with Solution Architect for guidance.
• Support the creation and analysis of performance test reports in collaboration with Solution Architect and dev team.
• Generate and organize application performance reports using AppDynamics, under the direction of solution architects and testing COE.
• Follow up on meeting action items to ensure timely progress and accountability.
• Assist ES project team ensure consistency of processes and best practices across multiple scrum teams.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking, problem-solving college student with an opportunity for a paid internship position on the IT team. You will work with our team of experienced BSAs, Solution Architects and development teams across projects.
Qualifications
Students with graduation date of May 2027
Pursuing a Bachelor’s in related IT field
Passion and aptitude for learning technology and solving problems.
Knowledge of cloud computing preferably Azure
Knowledge of web applications architectures
Good problem-solving skills, enthusiastic work approach, and self-motivated
Demonstrated expertise in understanding the mobile applications for customers or corporate internal use
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities
Understand Eversource Work Order Life Cycle Processes and systems involved for Electric and Gas business lines
Generate and maintain reports from Jira to support project tracking and team activities.
Assist in updating and executing LoadRunner performance test scripts, working closely with Solution Architect for guidance.
Support the creation and analysis of performance test reports in collaboration with Solution Architect and dev team.
Generate and organize application performance reports using AppDynamics, under the direction of solution architects and testing COE.

Interns are paid through our Managed Service Provider Program and are not employees of Eversource. Pay rates are hourly, based on year of graduation and if the role is technical or non-technical. Rates start at $18.12 for a freshman and go up to $29.86 for a graduate level student.
