In this role you will develop, maintain, and provide information in support of meter reading and field operations, billing, and associated departments. Provide analytical and technical support in several systems work processes and metering systems such as the Field Collection System (FCS), the Meter to Bill process and Meter Data Management System (MDMS).You will also troubleshoot a variety of issues related to the metering processes, hardware, and software, and making recommendations to leadership, while analyzing and assisting with updating existing work practices to support effective field and system operations.
Individual will be required to travel as needed.
Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.
Essentials Functions:
·Understanding and maintaining of meter reading routes.
·Ability to work with IT resources to conduct system testing, coordinating testing resources, and providing accurate documentation for certifying test results, developing, monitoring.
·You will be required to travel to support meter reading testing and equipment trouble shooting efforts as needed.
·Support meter reading testing and equipment trouble shooting efforts as needed.
·Support two Field Collection System (FCS) platforms and two Fieldnet Systems from a technical and subject matter expert perspective.
·Support two billing systems from a technical and subject matter expert perspective: Customer Central (C2) and OMNI.
·Participate in the reporting, tracking, retrieval, and analysis of meter reading performance data.
·Provide troubleshooting support on metering systems including service order systems; support the development of regulatory responses and perform data queries associated with metering systems and will analyze the results.
·Assist in day-to-day problem solving and troubleshooting relating to the meter reading hardware and software.
·You will identify and resolve daily system, process, metering, and interface problems.
·Responsible for coordinating recommended system and work practice changes with other departments including testing and training and will be responsible for providing technical support for field on metering and associated systems.
• You will participate in special assignments/projects (individual and team).
Qualifications:
Able to understand technical work with ease, strong technical troubleshooting skills, with meter reading equipment.
Ability to lead by example in day-to-day work and toward performance goals.

Demonstrated knowledge of utility regulations, statues, and practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to speak other languages is desirable.
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in a technical or a business-related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
Experience:
Two (2) plus years of relevant experience
Experience with special emphasis in business analysis, data collection, project management support, or technical metering expertise is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
