Role and Scope of Position
The Supply Chain Analyst Intern supports Eversource’s Supply Chain team by assisting with data analysis, reporting, procurement support, and logistics coordination. This role offers hands‑on experience across material planning, procurement, and supplier engagement while learning how supply chains operate from sourcing through delivery.
Essential Functions:
Assist with supply chain data analysis and reporting
Support procurement and material planning activities
Help with purchase orders, documentation, and system updates
Support inventory tracking and logistics coordination
Assist with supplier engagement and performance tracking
Qualifications:
Interest in supply chain, procurement, operations, logistics, or data analytics
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to work with data
Attention to detail and ability to organize and validate information
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team‑based, cross‑functional environment
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and business systems
Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Interns are paid through our Managed Service Provider Program and are not employees of Eversource. Pay rates are hourly, based on year of graduation and if the role is technical or non-technical. Rates start at $18.12 for a non-technical freshman and go up to $22.73 for a senior.
