Join Our Transmission Technical Engineering and Drone Engineering team at Eversource. The Associate Program Analyst will support the daily safety and operational requirements needed to manage a team across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.  This position requires proficiency with data management, excel, as well as media management.  Specific duties include database updating and reporting, transfer and management of large media files, data management tasks, and analysis of media to report on condition of utility assets.

Job Functions:

Support of Maintenance and Operations groups at Eversource Energy:

  • Analyze data about the condition of Assets and provide technical guidance, according to EPRI regarding replacement and/or remediation

  • Review of submitted inspection photos using Eversource software to determine accuracy.

  • Assist and ensure data transfers between platforms are complete and accurate in a timely manner

  • Create and issue percent complete progress updates to various internal groups for overhead inspections

  • Collaborate with Operations and other internal groups to ensure inspection deliverables are adhering to schedule and inspection requirements

  • Assist Internal Pilots as a Visual Observer for field inspections throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, as needed

  • Coordinate flight plans with pilots and assist with dispatching and scheduling of inspections and other flights

  • Coordinate foundation designs amongst Engineers and report on progress at set intervals

  • Perform the Drone Engineering Project Closeout Process to finalize and submit inspection results

  • Support the writing, editing, and implementation of innovative engineering and drone standards and best practices for comprehensive inspections or any other form of information collection

  • Willingness to seek help while in search of answers

  • Passion for data and is desired

  • Civil Engineering familiarity is desired

Essential Functions: 

  • Coordinates collection and management of data for all projects within Eversource’s grid modernization portfolio related to project development and execution, including financial data; project milestone adherence; risk assessment and implementation; and performance metrics.  
  • Develops monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal management and external reports.
  • Supports all regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Works closely with employees and management from Engineering, System Operations, IT, Finance, and Corporate Performance Management to implement and track grid modernization projects.
  • Extracts data and creates reports from multiple databases to aid in project controls and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Performs “deep dives” when data or results do not match expectations.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, statistical, and mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with budgeting and accounting concepts.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
  • Strong communication skills, (e.g., the ability to listen, write clearly, ability to discuss ideas and be persuasive).
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues internal and external to Eversource.
  • Ability to grasp concepts, analyze project information, determine facts, be sensitive to underlying issues, and make well thought out recommendations and decisions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, GIS, Access, Word, and Power Point, preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, charts, and building functions required. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or the equivalent in combined education and experience is required.                                              

Experience:

  • Zero to three years related experience. Experience in the utility industry ideal but not required.

$67,430.00-$74,920.00
