Eversource Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to assist in improving and documenting key business processes within our internal TIS Dashboard program, housed within SharePoint and a Microsoft Power App. This internship provides hands-on experience in business process analysis, system documentation, data reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Position Summary
Eversource is seeking a highly motivated, tech-savvy intern to support internal operations and process improvement efforts within our Strategic Solutions department. This role will directly support the department’s Business Systems Analyst (BSA) in maintaining and improving Monday.com as a core platform supporting the Eversource Transmission Interconnections process workflow and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
In addition to supporting workflow configuration and reporting within Monday.com, the intern will assist with document organization and system enablement using SharePoint as the official document repository. The intern will also leverage Microsoft Copilot to support documentation and improve team efficiency.
This internship is ideal for a student who is excited about process improvement, business systems, workflow automation, and stakeholder engagement, and who wants hands-on experience supporting real business workflows in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monday.com Workflow + CRM Support
- Support the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) in configuring and maintaining Monday.com as a workflow management and CRM platform supporting Transmission Interconnections
- Build and enhance Monday.com components including boards, dashboards, forms, views, permissions, integrations, and automations
- Participate in discussions with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into structured workflows
- Assist with requirements gathering, including documenting business needs, process steps, and user requirements
- Support internal workflow improvements that enhance tracking, coordination, reporting, and visibility across the Transmission Interconnections process
- Assist with testing and quality assurance including user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshooting, and validating system configuration changes
- Support data accuracy, consistency, and reporting through ongoing system cleanup and continuous improvement
SharePoint / Document Repository Support
- Assist in maintaining and improving SharePoint sites and document libraries used as the official document repository
- Organize document structures and ensure consistent file naming, versioning, and location standards
- Help ensure workflow records in Monday.com link to supporting documentation stored in SharePoint
Documentation, Training, and Adoption Support
- Create and maintain job aids, quick-reference guides, and workflow documentation
- Support internal training and adoption by helping develop training content and responding to user questions
- Gather user feedback and recommend usability improvements within Monday.com and SharePoint
AI Productivity and Enablement (Microsoft Copilot)
- Utilize Microsoft Copilot to support documentation, summarization, and organization of workflow/process content
- Assist with developing repeatable prompt templates and simple AI-enabled approaches that improve team efficiency
- Demonstrate good judgment regarding validation of AI outputs and awareness of data sensitivity
Required Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in a related field such as:
- Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or similar
- Strong interest in workflow systems, business analysis, process improvement, and low-code/no-code tools
- Strong communication skills with comfort engaging stakeholders at different levels of the organization
- Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Strong written communication skills (documentation, summarization, process notes)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Monday.com or similar tools (Airtable, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, Salesforce, etc.)
- Experience with SharePoint sites, document libraries, and file organization best practices
- Familiarity with workflow automations and integrations (Power Automate, Zapier, Make, etc.)
- Experience using AI-powered productivity tools, especially for drafting, summarization, documentation, or workflow support (Microsoft Copilot experience a plus)
- Exposure to APIs, JavaScript, SQL, and/or Microsoft 365 ecosystem tools

Interns are paid through our Managed Service Provider Program and are not employees of Eversource. Pay rates are hourly, based on year of graduation and if the role is technical or non-technical. Rates start at $18.12 for a freshman and go up to $27.63 for a graduate level student.
