Summer law school internsThrough the Eversource Energy Summer Legal Scholars Internship Program,rising second or third-year law students who have an interest in the energy/utilities field will have an opportunity to gain firsthand experience within Eversource Energy’s dynamic in-house legal department. This internship will provide selected law school students a chance to work alongside seasoned attorneys within a wide range of practice areas, including federal and state regulatory, litigation, environmental, real estate, labor & employment, procurement and other transactional work, data privacy and cybersecurity. Selected students will gain experience in legal research and writing, mentorship opportunities, and receive shadowing opportunities in the context of traditional litigation (before courts and administrative agencies) as well as alternative dispute resolution (negotiations, arbitrations, and mediations). Please be advised that Eversource makes no guarantee or promise of a full-time position upon the intern’s graduation from law school.
Interns are paid through our Managed Service Provider Program and are not employees of Eversource. Payrates are hourly and based on year of graduation and if the role is technical or non-technical. Analyst rates start at $18.12 freshman and up to $27.63 for a 2nd year graduate.
