Job Summary
Join Eversource Energy as a 2026 Summer Intern Data Analyst, Business Integration. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, contribute to critical business integration projects, and support data-driven decision-making within a leading energy company.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets from various business systems.
* Support the development and implementation of data models and dashboards to track key performance indicators related to business integration.
* Participate in cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and contribute to data integration strategies.
* Perform ad-hoc data analysis and present findings to internal stakeholders, identifying trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with senior data analysts and business integration specialists to understand project objectives and data challenges.
* Document data sources, methodologies, and analysis results clearly and concisely.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and tools.
Job Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex data.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) is a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Prior internship experience or coursework in data analysis is beneficial but not required.
Interns are paid through our Managed Service Provider Program and are not employees of Eversource. Payrates are hourly and based on year of graduation and if the role is technical or non-technical. Technical rates start at $18.12 freshman and up to $22.73 for a senior.
