Susan-Finance

Hearing is believing. When Susan isn’t busy with her job as Director of Corporate Performance at Eversource, she lends her voice as a volunteer reader at the Talking Information Center (TIC) in Marshfield, MA, a non-profit radio reading service that broadcasts newspapers, magazines, books, and special consumer information 24/7 to visually impaired and print impaired listeners. “Every time I’m volunteering, I imagine people listening to the show and the impact having information read to them has on their lives. I think of what life would be like if I couldn’t see or read, and how much help a service like this would be.” Susan is proud to have spent the past twenty years as a volunteer reader, and currently she “hosts” a weekly radio show where she reads articles aloud from Smithsonian Magazine.
