Most days, Eversource CEO Jim Judge spends his day sharing our vision for a cleaner energy future. This day, however, he was proud to share a box of crayons with bright young minds as a #PrincipalPartner for the day at the Dudley Street Neighborhood Charter School in Roxbury. The Boston Plan for Excellence (BPE) initiative invites area business leaders to experience a "school day in the life" of a Boston Public Schools principal. It’s all part of Eversource’s community outreach initiatives. According to Jim, “We’re a major company in the region – perhaps the biggest energy company in the region. It’s important that we support initiatives that are important to the customers we serve.”

What’s also important to Jim is the future of the organization and the planet. “Eversource needs to be a catalyst in the clean energy revolution,” he says. “That means developing Northern Pass to tap into hydropower, company-owned solar projects, grid-scale electricity storage, and electric-vehicle, or EV, charging stations.”
