Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.

Eversource is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in our Westwood, MA or Berlin CT office. This position provides a wide range of administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Group including the coordination and preparation of records, reports, letters and files.  Works with managers during the selection and placement of candidates for non-exempt and co-op positions.  Oversees the transactions relating to the ES Recruitment model and provides required reports and data in support of regulatory requirements and other Company needs.  Assists in the administration of Company and EEI tests.

Essential Functions: 

  • Provides administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Group including preparation of job folders, scheduling of interviews, preparation and distribution of information packets, oversight of background checks, distribution of offer letters, new employee orientation and processing of new hires.

  • Oversees the internal non-exempt posting process, which entails coordinating and updating seniority lists with Labor Relations, posting positions, screening candidates, discussing candidates with managers, ensuring labor agreements and past practices are followed and finalizing start dates.

  • Processes all related Talent Acquisition transactions and provides reports from the database as required including hiring and termination, new hire turnover and utilization statistics.  Also provides data used for VET’s 100, EEO-1 and OFCCP reports and other regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinates the selection and placement of candidates for the Co-Op/Intern Program working closely with both the hiring managers and participating schools.

  • Coordinates the internal exempt posting process and related duties.

  • Administers tests in compliance with Eversource and EEI Testing requirements.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including spreadsheets and presentation software

Education:

  • Requires a High School Diploma, Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.                    

Experience:        

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting a human resources or talent acquisition function or a Bachelors degree.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.

  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary

  • Work is performed primarily in an office environment which requires sitting at a desk and using a personal computer.

Mental Aspects:

  • Work includes analyzing, planning, coordinating and implementing. 

  • This role works in an environment that often requires the performance of multiple simultaneous activities, where deadlines need to be met and work is performed under pressure while involving significant business commitments and results
