Intern will provide support to the CT Systems Operations Center to assist with maintenance or grid management tools for the Electric Distribution SystemThe successful candidate will work in the CT System Operations Center and interface with the SOC Support Staff who support real time operations. The following is a general list of duties that could be assigned.
- General Outage Management System (OMS) Support
- System change processing and updates
- Mapping registry updates
- OMS Sequence of event verification
- DSCADA Screen Updates
- Operating Instruction updates
- Monitor distribution system health
- Assist with modeling of devices and systems
A student pursuing bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in power systems is preferred to support the CT Systems Operations Center
