Eversource is one of the nation’s leading supporters of customer-sited clean energy solutions and operates a range of programs that promote distributed renewable energy technologies.
The associate analyst will join Eversource’s Customer Solar Programs group and will be responsible for assisting in all matters related to the execution and administration of the Shared Clean Energy Facility (SCEF) Program. The SCEF Program provides opportunities for underserved electric customers to receive benefits from clean energy projects in Connecticut. Operated by Eversource, this multi-year program delivers clean energy bill credits primarily to low and moderate-income customers across the Eversource’s Connecticut territory.
The associate analyst’s responsibilities will include data analysis and database management, processing customer data and program applications, communicating directly with customers, and other program administration activities.
Essential Functions
- Process large data sets to identify customers eligible for the SCEF program and complete enrollment processes
- Generate and maintain monthly reports on customers participating in the SCEF program to track customer activity and applied bill credits
- Help prepare regulatory filings that report the status of the SCEF program
- Process customer applications and other customer requests to manage their program participation
- Answer customer requests and resolve concerns, as necessary, via e-mail and live phone.
- Assist with educating customers about the structure of the SCEF program.
- Contribute to a culture that promotes high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Demonstrated interest or experience in renewable and clean energy policy or technology, and environmental equity
- Strong data analysis and management orientation, attention to detail, positive attitude, ability to multi-task
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure of regulatory time constraints
- Ability to recognize problems and discrepancies in information and take appropriate action
- High level of proficiency in excel and database management, internet, and MS Office applications
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of an organization both internally and externally
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental sciences, public policy, engineering, accounting, finance, or the equivalent.
- Master’s degree in business administration, economics, or environmental sciences is desirable.
Experience:
- Two (2) plus years of related experience required. Experience in energy, climate, or sustainability industries preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program.
- The annual salary range for this position starts at $70,000 and the market rate is $78,000 plus incentive.
